    EMUHSD received a $9.8 million CA Air Resources Board grant for the period of 2020 to 2023 serving as a living laboratory to:

    • pilot a clean energy curriculum;
    • implement an electric school bus fleet and associated zero-emission infrastructure and vehicles; and,
    • complete Active Transportation Feasibility Assessments. 

    The District has partnered with the University of California, Riverside and key industry leaders in implementing this inaugural opportunity.

    This work is funded through the Clean Mobility in Schools Pilot Project grant awarded to the El 天美影视 Union High School District. The Clean Mobility in Schools Pilot Project is part of the , a statewide initiative that puts billions of Cap-and-Trade dollars to work reducing greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening the economy, and improving public health and the environment – particularly in disadvantaged communities.
