The District and EMUEA-AE met on October 28, 2019 and settled on Salaries and Fringe Benefits.  The tentative agreement is a zero percent (0%) pay raise for the 2018-2019 school year. For the 2019-2020 school year the pay raise will be 2.5% and the retainment of paid holidays for the full-time teachers plus an additional weekly prep hour for all members, both items in lieu of a higher pay raise for everyone in 19-20.  Finally, all insurance benefits will remain status quo.

Additionally, tentative agreements were reached on Article 3 (Association Rights), Article 8 (Calendar and Hours), Article 9 (Salary and Fringe Benefits), Article 10 (Seniority), Article 12A (Evaluation Procedure), Article 30 (Maintenance of Bargaining Unit Position), and Article 31 (Term of Agreement)

With the settlement and TAs, the negotiations are now concluded.

The District and EMUEA AE met on October 22, 2019.  The District and EMUEA AE were able to reach tentative agreements on Article 16A (Lactation Accommodation), Article 17 (Parental Leave), and Article 17A (Child Bonding).

The District did not receive a counter-proposal for salary and benefits so the counter-proposal issued in the previous meeting remains in effect.  The District proposed an increase to the previous District counter-proposed pay raise in lieu of the paid holidays and extra paid preparatory time that approximately 25 AE members currently receive.  The savings from the latter would be placed on the District most recent pay raise counter-proposal.

The next negotiation session is scheduled for October 28, 2019.
